About: Jeevika : Livelihoods Projects of Bihar
Delhi Photography Club is proud to present a SOLO show of photographs clicked by 16-year old photo enthusiast ADITYA ANMOL.
The idea behind hosting this exhibition is to draw the attention of public towards the effort taken by subsequent governments in development in various states and with special attention towards Bihar. Aditya is a keen observer and has an eye for details.
Why Bihar and Livelihoods
Aditya was born in Patna, Bihar and brought up in Delhi, but he was always connected to roots and has a keen desire to contribute to the cause and development of people who lived in Bihar and has a keen desire in showcasing day-to-day activities, efforts and challenges faced. This is a sincere effort showcase the efforts done by Government of India and individuals who are beneficiaries of these projects. This exhibition is intended to demonstrate the Projects in Action in villages of Bihar. This exhibition is his maiden solo exhibition
He expresses the impact of policies and government measures on people by capturing their lifestyle through his lens. His natural understanding of policies and its influence on people has been recognized by the most famous university- Harvard University. He was invited for participation in studies of economics with senior students of economics. His photograph captures the glimpses of people as a part of the market economy.
People and photography
In the fast moving world where time is very important and fast moving preferences in the allocation of time, Either we are worried about our past or planning for the future we forget to live our present, Photography is something which helps you to live in the present and allows you to be yourself. For Aditya photography is something which helps him to express his feeling but in more subjective approach.
About Aditya Anmol
Aditya Anmol is a class XII student of Delhi Public School R.K. Puram, New Delhi . He has represented his school in various events and photography contests. Recently his photograph was selected for Showcasing at Nicefoto : an international celebration of amateur photography at India Habitat Centre. He also represented his school in ‘Hash 3.0,TechFest2016 and at an International Environment Festival-Panchtatva. He was the winner of all photo competitions.
About Delhi Photography Club
Delhi Photography Club was setup with the intent of taking photography homes. The purpose of the DPC is to stimulate, enable, and nurture a fraternity of photography enthusiasts for mutual benefit.Due to fast changing internet and mobile devices space, many more people are consuming photos. We want people to store their memories more beautifully. The club is perhaps the first initiative of this kind in the entire country.
