Event Description : The Embassy of Spain & SEHER in Association with Bikaner House invite you to attend a flamenco performance by Encuentro Flamenco.
The Embassy of Spain and Seher in association with Bikaner house invite you to witness the first ever regal performance of the Encuentro flamenco group from Spain in India on the 5th of October! Bikaner house is one of the regal buildings around the Princes’ Park near India gate. Once the abode for the princes’, this cultural reminiscent of the colonial era now stands as a majestic venue for niche events where art and culture from around the world takes form.
The Event showcasing the Encuentro flamenco is a celebration of 60 years of cordial relations between India and Spain. With the majestic backdrop of Bikaner House, this preview is a true representation of striving and nurturing art and culture. This evening is a celebration of Spain’s commitment to the second edition of the Udaipur Music festival to the Udaipur Music festival that will enthrall Rajasthan and the entire country with its soulful music and renowned artists on 10, 11th and 12th February 2017. The previous edition was witness to awe striking performance by one of the best Flamenco groups TAMARA & FERNANDO, PASO A DOS from Spain. This year too, the country awaits with baited breath for exemplary artist from Spain to resonate Udaipur with their folk music.
As a prelude to the festival, this evening at Bikaner House will come alive with Encuentro flamenco, a Young music ensemble from Spain. On stage would be four of the most talented Flamenco artists from Spain. Come witness the magic woven by guitarist Anabel Moreno, José Almarcha, JuanDebel and Javier Valduncie as they transport us to the rich land of Spain with their traditional Flamenco accentuated with an avant garde brew packaged in an hour of emotions, passion and joy!
