Event Description : DANCE "Madhurakruta" Bharatnatyam-Kathak-Mohiniattam Trio performance by Rashmi Aggarwal.

MADHURAKRUTA is a beautiful dance piece that brings the three Indian classical dance forms – Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Mohiniaatam alive on stage.
Indian music has an universal  apeal and richness. Almost every Indian god is associated with musical instrument. For example, Shiva with Damru, Krishna with Flute, Saraswati with Veena, and Ganesa with mridangam and so many.  

Madhurakruta is a dance piece that showcases the beauty of these divine instruments and how these instruments arouse profound feelings in a dancer that she conveys though her soulful dance. Different instruments, be it percussion or string or wind, when play together, bring her varied forms of emotions, once she immerses herself into the sweet melody of the divine instruments.

About the Organiser: Sri Sudha Centre for Performing Arts (SSCPA)
Shri Sudha Centre for Performing Arts (SSCPA) is a non-Government organization completely devoted to promote classical and traditional dance forms. The Founder President of SSCPA, Kalashree Rashmi Aggarwal, believes that the Indian classical dance is a unique way to connect to our glorious past and rich heritage of our country and that the artists must use their unique positioning in society to strengthen this bond and pass on to our future generations. It is her this belief that has conceived this institution. SSCPA is determined to spread this dance form and reach out and inspire the new, and especially young generation. 

Honours: Its students won 1st prize in group choreography junior category in National Dance Competition organized by S.U.N.AI.N.A society in 2011. Won 2nd prize in senior category in MTNL Perfect Health Mela. Won Distinguish Service Award By Sangeetik from Guru Jitendra Maharaj institution of performing Arts  held in ICCR.
The institution has been organizing dance festival, ‘Nritya Dhara’ every year since 2012. The festival is a tribute to all art preservers whose efforts have made our traditional and classical art froms, alive till date.

About Kalashree Rashmi Aggarwal : Rashmi Aggarwal is one of the most distinguished disciples of the eminent Gurus, Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan and Smt. Shermishtha Mallick. She has performed her stage debute Arangetram in the year 2006. She is M.A in Bharatanatyam from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwa Vidyalaya. Rashmi has been awarded with scholarship by Sahitya Kala Parishad. A graded artist of Doordershan Kendra and an empanelled artist under the Indian Council Of Cultural Relations (ICCR), GoI, she was selected by the ICCR as a part of teaching panel travelling abroad in 2012. She is also a member artist of a number of organisations including India World Cultural Forum and ABHAI (Association of Bharatanatyam Artists in India).

Rashmi has performed widely in India as well as abroad. Some of her major performances include Rajgir Festival, Chakradhar Samaroh, Taj Mahotsava, Chennai Festival, Music Academy in Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Duet Festival, New Delhi. Her overseas performances include Ukraine, Poland, Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa, Sweden, Kazakhstan, to name a few. Rashmi Aggarwal founded Shri Sudha Centre for Performing Arts (SSCPA) with an aim to propagate and protect rich heritage of our country and its dance forms.
