Event Description : THEATRE : Creative Energies Performing Arts Association presents "Ishq Da syaapa, Daughter-in-law weds Papa" Punjabi Comedy Play.

The most loved and hilarious comedy play in Dilli- waali Punjabi which every Hindi speaking Delhite can understand. 

This rib tickling comedy is an adaptation from the world famous comedy 'The Miser' by Moliere. Its about a miserly father (Lala Karori Mal) whose misery knows no bounds. Add to this a family of lunatics which consists of an extravagant son, whose spendthrift nature is a constant sore for Lala, a superlatively witty and incorrigible servant Nambu, the sweet daughter Billo, who has a secret love affair with the second disguised servant Sukhi, the oily tongued matchmaker Kuljeet Bua and to top it all, the unpredictable soft-hearted hard-nut Hawaldaar Shamsher Singh. 


In their own exclusive ways, they create absolute mayhem, thus taking the audience on a never before roller coaster ride of tummy hurting hilarious situations.
