Event Description : "Ecce Bombo" Italian Comedy film screening with English Subtitles, as part of 'Double Bill' Series

Michele, Mirko, Vito and Goffredo, four friends of the Sixties, tired of spending the evenings in the bar, decide to take to the path of self-consciousness to solve their dissatisfactions, but end up indulging in long-winded digressions without coming to any conclusion. Michele helps high school boys study for high school, has a difficult family rapport, a complicated relationship with his girlfriend Silvia (who works in films as an assistant director) and with women in general; Olga, a schizophrenic girl lives in the same house as Mirko, a boy beset by various problems; Vito is a lazy employee; Godfrey is an indolent college student. The arrival of summer will conclude the experiment of self-consciousness, but the four friends still see each other; during one of the usual meetings, a decision is taken to go find Olga. The news spreads among the other guys at the bar and in the neighborhood, but in the end it will be only Michele to show up in front of Olga.
