Event Description : ‘Long Night of LiteratureS’
Then the Instituto Cervantes along with nine other cultural institutions is organising an evening of literature readings by well-established authors from parts of Europe. Among the authors there will be: Gabriela Ybarra (Spain), Jacek Dechnel (Poland), Jean-Pierre Orban (Belgium), Johan Harstad (Norway), Laila Wadia (Italy), Mátyás Sirokai (Hungary), Makenzy Orcel (France), Markus Kirchhofer (Switzerland), Vea Kaiser (Austria).
The format encourages audiences to listen to many authors through the course of the evening. Each author reads to an audience of about 20 people for 20 minutes. The audience has to move to the next room to listen to another author reading from their chosen work of literature. This concept allows the audience a very intimate space and personal interactions with authors.
An evening of literary encounters with authors from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain and Switzerland
The authors will present readings of their texts in their respective languages as well as in English. The authors include
· Laila Wadia, Italy
· Line Hoven, Germany

· Jean-Pierre Orban, Belgium
· Makenzy Orcel, France
· Roland Orcsik, Hungary
· Johan Harstad, Norway
