About the filmmaker: Abhay Kumar is an award winning filmmaker, TED fellow and teacher from India. In 2011, Abhay's feature documentary ‘Placebo” premiered at IDFA, winning a jury nomination award for best debut. Abhay has already spent a decade in hybrid genres- merging fact and fiction, animation and live action to create emotionally resonant narratives which transcend cultural and geographical limitations.
