Open the Navratri Season with Gala Night By Garba In The City!

Richa Nritya & Kala Society is set to welcome Navratri in a traditional way by organising its 4th edition of the grand Gala Night of Garba and Dandiya in association with Pristine Group. The event is scheduled for September 30, 2016, 6:30 PM at 
Garba in the City is celebrating at a huge scale after the tremendous response received from the Delhites for its intensive workshop of Garba Raas from 29th August – 29th September 2016. It is to witness the sheer hardwork of our participants and instructors culminate into an almost pro – like performance. To add the dash of fun and gaiety of dance programmes, the occasion will be lit up by the melodious presence of Mumbai’s playback singer, Nayan Rathod and his team with high pulsating beats of gujarati folk music. Also, the amusing contests to be held, and lip smacking cuisines of Old Delhi served at the venue will set the delightful ambience for the night.
Richa Gupta, the organiser of workshop feels, “Navratri is a perfect occasion to reconnect with the traditional folk dances, culture and performing arts of India while reflecting the vibrancy of festivities at its peak”.

About Richa Nritya & Kala Society: Founded by Kathak Danseuse Richa Gupta who learned Kathak under the tutelage of Guru Ghanshyam Gangani from the age of 5, Richa Nritya & Kala Society is established to spread the knowledge of our dance forms.
