Workbench Projects in collaboration with IIIT-D, Banaao- A Makers Playground, Banana House and Makers Box brings you a ‘Delhi Mini Maker Faire’. The Delhi chapter is a mini version of global event ‘Maker Faire’ which is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement.

Delhi Mini Maker Faire (DMMF) is an independently produced celebration of local maker culture and modeled after the well-known Maker Faire in Silicon Valley which draws over 150,000 attendees from all over the world. The organizers not only intend to bring the spirit of this globally known faire to the city of New Delhi but also desire to host all those who want to strike inspiration and creativity!
The platform intends to creates opportunities for conversations with Makers, Tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and entrepreneurs where all come together to show their projects and to talk about what they have learned. The community-based show & tell event inspires everyone to become a maker, and connect with people and projects in their local community.

50+ shortlisted makers will showcase their projects at the faire from across age groups and disciplines. Some highlights of the faire are: mini-workshops and D-I-Ys by community makers, games, performances and interactive installations by volunteer teams and community partners, industry sponsored workshops, stalls, brilliant innovations like Coco-Mic – a DIY Studio Quality Mic, Pi-Berry Laptop – DIY Laptop, BlueSense - Smart Room Automation using ‪‎Bluetooth,  Axis-The Genius Robot, Eagle A-7, The Smart Mirror by well-known & superbly talented makers like Chitlange Sahas and Harshwardhansinh Zala respectively.
So, all you fellas come, learn, share ,celebrate, get inspired, connect with like-minded people ; all under one roof as we all set for Delhi’s First ever Mini Maker Faire.
