Featured Artists:
Stand-Up Comedians -
Rajneesh Kapoor is a Stand Up Comedian, comic strip maker and has published two humour books. He performs funny and yet clean comedy which makes people laugh without offending anyone. Times of India rated him as one of the top ten comics in India. He has performed for Embassies, Colleges and innumerable Blue Chip Companies.
Pooja Vijay is a non-Hindi speaking “Madrasi” living in Delhi. Through her comedy, she brings a fresh perspective to life as a stutterer (yes, just like the Nescafe ad!), the funny side of being an Indian studying in Europe and her failed attempts at being politically correct.
She has bagged a few 'best stand-up act' titles at open-mic shows. Papa CJ has claimed her to be the comedy world's next rising star!
Srijan’s identity crisis is rooted in his upbringing. He was born in Delhi, grew up in Rajasthan, studied in Gujarat and worked in Bangalore. A single child, raised in a dysfunctional joint family, he had an ideal environment to derive his humour from. For the rest, he draws on his life experiences and the multi-cultural environments that he has been fortunate to be exposed to.
Spoken Word Poets-
Divya Dureja is a seasoned performer in the Delhi Spoken Word circuit. Divya will touch topics that won’t let your mind wander and using humor she’ll make you ponder. She brandishes her rhymes in English with pangs of Hinglish. The places where she has performed range from protest marches in the University of Delhi to the famed New York Poetry Festival.
Aina Singh is a mercurial poet with a fiery pen, who dissects things into nothingness and resurrects them through the power of words. Her work revolves around equal rights and the power dynamics of society. She has opened for renowned comedian Vasu Primlani and Darkmatter fame Alok Vaid Menon.
Musicians-
Sumit Sadawarti is a true performer with an operatic voice that lends itself to blues, soul and rock songs. A singer, songwriter, and a pianist, he is heavily inspired by Amy Winehouse and Joan Baez. He is a powerhouse vocalist who has the capability to do complex runs, trills and melismas and he likes to describe his music as dark poetry.
Sandeep and Deepankar are versatile musicians with a unique style and sound. They perform popular pop-fusion-bollywood numbers and their own originals with beauty, soul and technique that would mesmerise and soothe your mind.
