Event Description : MUSIC : HCL Concerts present True To Our Roots, staging a unique all women ensemble, featuring the Queens of Violin, Dr. M Lalitha and M Nandini, accompanied by Mahima Upadhyay on Pakhawaj and Sangita Agnihotri on Tabla 

Internationally acclaimed Violin Maestros Dr. M. Lalitha and M. Nandini have been widely applauded as the 'Queens of Violin'. Popularly known as the 'Violin LN Sisters', these outstanding musicians have enthralled the audiences with their spell binding music. With a career extending over three decades Lalitha and Nandini are regarded as highly imaginative virtuoso Violinists with immaculate bowing along with dexterous fingering techniques. They became the first south Indian musicians to be interviewed by and to have performed Carnatic Violin duet for the BBC Radio 3. They were also the first Indian musicians to perform in the free-state province Bloemfontein, South Africa. They became the first Indian female Violinists to perform at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster, United Kingdom for the Commonwealth PSU.
