Considered as pioneers in the female DJ scene in India, the DJ duo Anushka & Agent are performing live at Bunmanchi. The chilled out bar with no frills will have a night revolving around disco, hip-hop and RnB. The night has it all to set the dance floor on fire with pure energy.
Anushka Menon is a beauty & fashion photographer, deeply rooted within the music scene. Her debut international performance was at the Burning Man Festival 2015 in USA.With a large appetite for experimental sounds, DJing is just the start of her musical adventure.
Agent (Smita Singh) is a designer and co-founder of Magnetic Fields Festival India. Brought up on a diet of 70s, 80s and 90s funk, hip-hop and house, she brings her love for old school dance music to get bodies moving.
The pair has played at some of the best venues in India along with a few standout events and festivals like the Opening act for Diana King (India 2015), Bass Camp Festival 2015 (India) - Delhi & Pune, VH1 Supersonic Goa December 30th 2015 (India) and VH1 Supersonic Pre Party for Skrillex (India). Combining their individual sounds and skills, their DJ sets are a diverse mash-up of disco, funk, hip hop, RnB, classic house to fresh beats and trap.
