Event Description : EXHIBITION "The Falling Leaf: On Entropic Currents" is a collaborative proposition by students from the College of Arts, Delhi (COA).

Conceptualised by Adwait Singh, one of the 15 young curators selected to present Student's Biennale 2016, this event is an initial outcome of the process undertaken with the COA's students for the upcoming Student's Biennale in Kochi

Student's Biennale 2016 will run parallel to the Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016. Conceived as part of Kochi Biennale Foundation’s ‘Higher Education Programme’, the programme aims to create an alternative platform for students from Government-run art colleges in India to reflect upon their art practices and exhibit their works to a global audience. It will bring together works of art students from across the country under one roof, and thus would become a survey of the diversity of styles and pedagogic traditions current in India’s art education system.

The exhibition will be curated by a team of 15 young curators who work along with a dedicated advisory committee of leading artists, art thinkers and educators. The curators work directly with final year BFA and MFA students of art colleges to understand their work, and are involved in the selection of works for the exhibition.
