Event Description : BOOK LAUNCH "The Bud and the Blossom: Aesthetics of Odissi Dance".

Arushi Mudgal had the great privilege of co-authoring a book on the aesthetics of Odissi with one of the finest aestheticians of India, Prof. S.K. Saxena. Both of them worked on the book from 2010 to 2013, and completed it two days before he passed away. 

As a tribute to Prof. Saxena, our book - The Bud and the Blossom: Aesthetics of Odissi Dance - is being released on his birth anniversary, July 16, 2016.
