Event Description : THEATRE : Mirchi Jhonk (NGO working for women empowerment) presents "Aagaz (आग़ाज़)" Hindi Play.

A play raising the question on the harsh and hypothetical behavior of our society towards women. A theater performance tapping the issues of hypocrisy against women under the hood of prejudices & norms of our cultural society.A highly intense drama provoking thoughts to think again over our treatment towards women. Some short dance performances by little stars, to exhibit what they have learned and to leap over the fear of facing real audiences.

About Mirchi Jhonk - SKMS Memorial Foundation Dr Seema Malik founded Society for human action and reconstructive program in the year 1994 and under her leadership the society flourished and made remarkable contribution to the lives of thousands of people across the country. The society’s work ranged from arranging health camps for the elderly to fighting for MirchiJhonk justice for juvenile criminals along with many awareness campaigns for various causes such as HIV prevention and many other social issues. At the completion of 16 years of the inception of SHARP, Dr Seema realized her long felt dream in the form of SKMS Memorial Foundation. The trust came into existence in 2009 and is named after Dr Seema Malik’s late father Sri Krishna Murari Srivastava, a retired IAS officer of the British Era and a visionary. Mr Srivastava always felt for the downtrodden sections of the society and was of the opinion that all us should make our contributions to the betterment of the society in whatever we can.
