Note: For 7 to 11 years old.
Don´t forget to come to the workshop with this materials:
• Shirt to avoid staining.
• A T-shirt or cotton cloth bag that we use for printing
• Elements of nature such as leaves, sticks ...
• Elements to create textures: cloths , mops ...
The workshop will be taught in English using some Spanish vocabulary. No previous knoledge of Spanigh is required.

Event Description : KIDS WORKSHOP "Printmaking Workshop for children" by Nerea Galán Ibanez

In this introductory workshop for children you will learn the basics of traditional printmaking on a funny and creative way using the spanish vocabulary. To do this, we will conduct 5 sessions of 2 hours each consisting of:

• Stampmania: use the stamp as an approach to printmaking and create our own
stamp design.

• Monoprinting and false printing: we start with the printing technique using
monotypes and printing using acetate. 

• Embossing: with recycled materials, we design our own printing plate we will print
later.

• False xilography: aluminum foil and other recycled materials help us to make our
first xilography.

• Screen Printing, T-shirt workshop: to finish our workshop, we will use the engraving
technique called screen printing on textile and we will design our own T –shirt design.
