Event Description : EXHIBITION ““We stand together #WithRefugees”” Photography show by Raghu Rai and Refugees on the occasion of World Refugee Day 2016

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) India is holding a photo exhibition of the photographs taken by the renowned photographer, Mr Raghu Rai and refugees living in India on the occasion of World Refugee Day 2016. The pictures are of various refugee communities including refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Tibet, Sri Lanka, and Somalia. The photographs tell their stories of hardships, resilience and enormous courage to rebuild their shattered lives.

UNHCR India works in collaboration with the Government of India in supporting refugees and asylum seekers who come to India to seek safety from persecution in their own countries.
