The band is an amalgamation of musicians who have practiced and performed the art for over a decade. Desi Roots derives it influences from theatre, ancient poetry, folk, traditional Hindustani classical, contemporary international musical styles and genres, world music and electronica. Desi Roots are driven towards performing for the masses and creating music that is honest and simple.
