Event Description : Avighn Theatre Group presents a theatre-marathon combining the five gems from the World of Literature in the form of ‘Short Plays in Hindi’. These adaptations are in Indian perspective. The project is produced and directed by Roop Kishor ‘Nisheet’ and Suhasini Dighe respectively.
1. ‘Ek Pyali Chay’ is Hindi adaptation of Katherine Mensfield’s original English Story ‘A Cup of Tea’. It is sarcasm on the feelings of jealousy, insecurity and materialism of so-called aristocrat class.
