Event Description : MUSIC "Echo" with Alter State, Delhi Sultanate & Moniker

Conceptualised with the aim of introducing sound culture to Delhi’s audio-heads, the club night outlines the evolution of bass right from the early days of dub, dancehall and reggae to the glory days of dubstep and grime in the 90s through tunes selected by Delhi-based DJs Moniker and Alter State, along with reggae and dancehall MC and selector; Delhi Sultanate. 

ECHO officially celebrates its first birthday this month, with the three resident selectors taking charge of the decks. 

Early dancehall and reggae roots tunes will turn the crowd up to the days of Tubby and 'Scratch' Perry to the cut-throat basslines and room shaking wubs of the golden days of pure dubstep. A night for everyone who is a fan of Delhi Sultanate’s (aka Taru Dalmia) BASSFoundation Roots nights or Mala’s set at Magnetic Fields 2014. A lot of love and attention into ECHO – right from the bass heavy, custom sound system, carefully hand picked by our three initiators, to our old-school Jamaica inspired posters.
