About: Curated by Priyanka Banerjee, the show is based on the theme of ‘A Pastoral Pursuit’, where she aims to bring before the viewers the contemporary art by the talented artists. In the collection Priyanka has realistic, abstract and semi abstract art. In a fast paced world, one has hardly the time to appreciate art. Nowadays, people take pride in forgetting our rich cultural heritage and like aping the west. Our endeavour is to make people appreciate art and encourage the talent of the artists.
About the Curator: Priyanka Banerjee is known for her efforts to promote emerging artists, and in the same spirit, she presents yet another exhibition that highlights exciting talent from the city. She has curated many group exhibitions in the India and Abroad in the past, including the esteemed galleries at Siri Fort Auditorium, Travancore Palace, Lalit Kala Academy, AIFACS and India Habitat Centre.
