Event Description : EXHIBITION "Pratibimb-Reflections" a Group show of Artworks by 28 artists
We are immensely honored to have the blessings and participation of our senior artists:
Ram V. Sutar, Niren Sengupta, SVRama Rao, Umesh Varma, Paramjeet Singh, Naresh Kapuria, and Sri Ram Gohri.
Ram V. Sutar's (Padmabhushan 2016) sculpture of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will also be on display. which was one of the models for the 'Statue of Unity' - the world's highest statue being built in India by him.
Latest paintings by Niren Sen Gupta (ex-Principal, College of Art, Delhi) will also be displayed along with Naresh Kapuria's (Director, Art and Culture, The Lalit) mixed media works and paintings by Paramjeet Singh (Chairman, All India Fine Art & Crafts Society, AIFACS).
The show captures the art works of artists from an age group of 11 years, Kushal Agrawal up to 91 years, Ram V. Sutar.
'Knotted Connections' are installations by Aakshat SInha that were invited for display at the Silk Road Cultural Forum meet held in Moscow in September 2015.
Enamel works by Anindita Kishore (Retd. IAS) and Bhaskar Kishore will adorn the gallery walls too.
Lorraine Brigdale is an Australian artist while Sabita Agrawal is a Nepalese artist, both are living and practicing in India.
RBSantosh Kumar's works are part of the President's collection at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
The show will be inaugurated at 5pm on Sunday, 10th April at Lalit Kala Akademi by Mr. Sergey Karmalito, Senior Counsellor, Embassy of the Russian Federation in India in the gracious presence of senior artists, photographers, art lovers and members of the media.
