Event Description : Theatron Theatre Group presents "Gandhi-Ambedkar" Hindi Play
Gandhi-Ambedkar” is the attempt to present the two national heroes"Gandhi or Ambedkar" on the mainstream stage. This play scores a first by exploring a relationship that had a profound effect on the history of the nation is devoid of emotional frills. Playwright Premanand Gajvi creates an imaginary common meeting space in which Gandhi and Ambedkar thrash out their innate differences. In order to make the play interesting, the playwright has created the character of a vidushakh who puts uncomfortable questions to both the leaders. The clown not only provides an opportunity to the audience to take the leaders to task, but also gives a fair chance to both the leaders.
Director : Geetanjali
