Event Description : Tankbund Band Performing Live

Tankbund is an electronica/ambient band from New Delhi, formed in late 2011. It released a 15 track eponymous album “Tankbund” in June 2013 and an EP titled ‘Inside’ in March 2014 which have been received very warmly by audiences across the country. The music is a blend of ambient noise; dark moody melodies and trip hop influences. The band is currently working on its third release, slated for a release in Mid 2016. The band has performed all over the country including festivals like the ‘Ziro Festival of Music’ and venues such as ‘Blue Frog Delhi/ Mumbai’ ‘High Spirits - Pune’ ‘Hard Rock Cafe’ and more. Tankbund was nominated under 2 categories at the Jack Daniels Rock Awards 2014, them being (Best Keyboardist and Best Female Vocalist) and a contender for a nomination for the Best Emerging Artist 2014).
