Event Description : “NAS Duo” Concert by Ausiàs Garrigós Morant & David Merseguer Royo as part of Music and Performing Arts

NAS duo is a bass clarinet & percussion duo created in 2010, based in London and resident at Guildhall School of Music, where they are a Junior Fellowship Chamber Group since 2014.Their work is mainly focused on contemporary music, commissioning and playing new pieces for this unusual combination. Innovation and researching interests bring them to collaborate with other artistic disciplines such as contemporary dance, audio and visual artists, and mainly, electronic process. This time, not only they will be playing new pieces celebrating the 60 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and India, but they will also be performing pieces commemorating the 400 years anniversary of Miguel de Cervantes. NASduo has appeared in venues as Wigmore Hall, St Martin the Fields, Milton Court, TripSpace, Guidhall School Music Hall, Valencia Music Hall, Quartell Auditorium, Valencia International Performance Academy... They have premmiered pieces by composers as Donghoon Shin, Victor Vallés, César Cano, Ehud Freedman, James Albany, Gene Pritsker, Richard Baker, Aaron Holloway, Manuel López, etc.
