Event Description :  "Misty Kid of Wind" Japanese film screening with English Subtitles

This beautiful film focuses on the budding relationship between a young girl, Karin, who lives alone in a secluded mountain village with her consumptive mother and Takada Saburo, a mysterious new boy in her class that she has met before, whose nickname is "Matasaburo of the Wind". It is based on the story Misty Kid of the Wind by the poet and novelist Kenji Miyazawa.
