Abstract Paintings Are By The Argentine Artist Thomas Francis & The Stories Behind Each Painting Are Written & Compiled By The Curator Bhavna Minocha. Each Abstract Work Has A Story Behind It.  They All Talk About The Philosophy Of Life And Human Nature. For Example:

The Abstract On Marriage Or Casa Miento In Spanish Has A Lot Of Colours And A Couple Of Black Arrows. The Colours Symbolize The Happy Times In A Marriage And The Spiritual & Joyful Union Of A Couple. The Black Arrows Depict The Conflicts In The Relationship. The Painting Gives A Message – A Happy Marriage Is The Union Of Two Good Forgivers.

The Paintings Titled Think Out Of The Box Or Pensar Fuera De La Caja In Spanish, This Colourful Painting Gives The Message To Think Bigger & To Constantly Challenge Yourself. Routine Does Not Allow You To Progress. If You Do What You Have Always Done, Then You Will Get What You Have Always Got. If You Are Not Willing To Risk It All, Then You Don’t Want It Bad Enough.

The Painting Titled Yin Yang Is A Black & White Abstract. In Chinese Philosophy, Yin & Yang Describes How Opposite Or Contrary Forces Are Actually Interconnected & Interdependent In The Natural World. Example, Sky & Earth, Day & Night, Water & Fire, Male & Female And So On.  Two Halves That Together Complete Wholeness. Good & Evil Is The Yin & Yang Of The Human Condition Today.

The Painting Titled Sun Or Sol In Spanish Depicts The Sun As The Source Of Life, Its Beauty Remains Immortal In All Seasons. Its Hard To Be Sad Or Angry When One Has Seen The Sunrise. It Makes Everything So Small And Insignificant In Front Of Its Brightness. It Rises And Sets Regardless. What We Do With The Light While Its Here Is Upto Us. The Journey Of The Sun Is Predictable, But Your Journey Is Your Ultimate Art. So Lets All Journey Wisely.

Artist : Thomas Francis
 Born In Mumbai In 1966. After College He Lived In Doha, Dubai And Hong Kong. In 1994 He Settled In Buenos Aires For Business Where He Met His Wife.

They Moved To Copenhagen In 2003, And It Was There Where He Started As An Autodidact Artist. Being In Denmark As Husband Of A Diplomat Made It Difficult To Continue With His Business Career, So Applying The Danish Principle That “an Obstacle Should Be Seen As An Opportunity For New Challenges”, He Decided To Follow His Passion For Painting. His First Painting Titled “prisoners In Paradise” Portrays The Situation Of Many Men And Women Who Resign Their Careers To Follow Their Spouses.

He Has Taken Advantage Of His Diverse Cultural Experiences In Different Parts Of The World To Portray Them In Colorful Paintings Of Abstract Art.

He Has Exhibited His Paintings In Art Galleries And Cultural Centers In Copenhagen At The “christian Dam Gallery” And “verdens Kultur Centre”, And In Buenos Aires At “como En Casa Art Bistro” And “galería Hoy En El Arte”. Recently, Some Of His Paintings Were Exhibited At The Gallery “art Junction” In New Delhi.

While She Has Also Presented Paintings By The Famous Mf Husain, Paresh Maity,  Fn Souza And Many More Of The Established Names,  But She Takes Keen Interest In Sourcing New Talented Artists From All Across The Country To Introduce The Artist & Their Artworks In Her Exhibitions. Bhavna Has Also Featured In Some Art Related Programs Aired On Ndtv & Star News And Has Been Well Covered By Print Media For Her Art Exhibitions. She Is Already Working On Her Next Project Of Organizing An Exhibition In India And Another Abroad Wherein The Idea Is To Take Talented Unknown Artists From India To Showcase Their Works Internationally And Also To Introduce International Artists In India In Her Forthcoming Exhibitions. The Exhibitions Will Not Only Be An Art Show But Will Also Showcase Different Forms Of Art I.e Music, Fashion, Theatre & Narrations.
