Event Description : WORKSHOP : Cinema-Theater Workshop in Spanish

Objective: Students will learn how to do a thatre play mixing audiovisual images, music and theatre.
Contents:
Students will have to agree on the main ideas for creating a theatre play, they will have to use them to make a description of the characters and situations, an synopsis of the play and the final dialoges. So they will practice both oral and writting expresion’s skills
Once the dialoges are the students will start with the rehearsals, in individual and group sessions in the Auditorium. They will practice oral expression and they will learn how to express comunicative functions and emotions, using intonation for improving their inffluence in the audience.
In the visual area, students will learn the technichal facet of cinema, using this knowledge for making a video recording which will be integrated in the play. For that they will need to use the skills and contents from the previous stages of the workshop.
Besides, the main story must include cultural feature, so students will take part in a training task for improving their inter-cultural compentence.
If there is time and interested students, they also have the possibility of learning how to use the light on stage, increasing their knowledge about the technical features of theatre.
