Event Description : Art Revolution Gallery presented "Mumbai to delhi" a group art exhibition of painting Curated by Smruti Sirsat.
Art Revolution unleashes the true potential of artists from Mumbai,Kolkata,Gujrat bringing them to capital of India. They say "Dilwalo ki Dilli", we say kalakaaro aur kadardaano ki Dilli.
Art Revolution is all about imagination and creativity giving birth to new artform breaking conventional forms prevailing through ages.
Here, we announce our arrival taking the journey of art from different genres, bringing artists together under one canopy.
Brief about Smruti : This is Smruti Sirsat, I passed out from Goa college of art armed with a Bachelor of Fine art degree with a gold medal in the year 2002. Art revolution is a platform for upcoming artists as well as artists with unique art styles, using unconventional mediums and styles,a true revolution in its self. Being an artist in my initial days as an assemblage artist having an unconventional style of work I faced a lot of resistance from art conesseiurs. One needs to believe in their own style, and be a pioneer. I started off in Goa, I met Hari Diessing, German Artist of the Harmony group, who was the first to appreciate the unique style. Finally a big thank you to my Parents Seema and Shyam Sirsat for all their support since childhood. Assemblage Art-Assemblage art is an artistic form or medium usually created on a defined substrate that consists of 3D elements, projecting out of or from the canvas., the origin if this art form dates to the Cubist cobstruction if Pablo Picasso1912-1914. The origin of the word (in its artistic sense) can be traced back to early 1950’s When Jean Dubuffet created a series of collages of butterfly. Tribute to late Tony Abraham, from the Times of India group who played a vital role in me coming to.
