Event Description : Vayam - The Performing Arts Society presents "Ek Rishte Ki Maut" Hindi play.

'EK RISHTE KI MAUT' is a play based in the fast paced world of today. The world that moulds us to become the unrelenting and almost ruthless person that we could never imagine ourselves to be, sometimes leaving only destruction. A couple that married happily despite facing discouragement from their family, are forced to reconsider their decision as the taste of the relationship between them changes. From being head over heels in love to having conversations assuming the dimensions of a heated argument, they file for divorce. But things are easier said than done! 
Their emotions couldn’t agree more and their outer self couldn’t reveal less. Their emotions, being personified, are the thoughts and feelings they crush inside themselves thwarted by misunderstandings. The play showcases how the couple barely juggle between clashing egos, sweet memories, vows of irrevocable love and practicality.

The story progresses as the couple deal with prolonged emotional upheaval and the finality of their relationship which is about to get sealed in just a few months, days and eventually hours. The play is gripping till the very end and is bound to take the audience by surprise. Drawing an instant connection with the audience, the play makes the audience reflect and come up with answers which were palpable since the very beginning.
