Event Description : Music Under the Stars with Afterglow

The Hungry Monkey and Art Collide are all set for a stellar evening of jazz lit up with Rie Ona's alto sax, Sonic on bass, Shivam on the keyboard and Sreenath on the skins. Together, they are Afterglow.

Afterglow is:
Rie Ona / Saxophone
Rie started to play alto sax as well with floating the idea of forming a Jazz band. She has been a session musician and has been actively playing with jazz and funk bands around town. 

Sonic Shori / Bass
Is a student of Grammy-nominated Greek-American musician Panagiotis Andreou. His playing combines complexity with cohesion, playing melodies with dexterity, musicality, and tenacity. He has also collaborated with many musician from differnet genres. 

Sreenath Sreenivasan / Drums 
Well-known for his versatility, Sreenath Sreenivasan binds unique members tight and expresses the color of each song. Sreenath has studied at SAM and has been doing a lot of sessions work as a drummer for various bands.

Shivam Khare / Keyboard 
Keyboardist Shivam Khare is a unique and well-rounded musician with a plethora of harmonic language. Adept at both western classical music and contemporary music he also studied Jazz at the prestigious jazz school SAM under New York-based virtuoso pianist Jason Lindner and was also adjudged as the “Most Distinguished Student”.
