14th December: Vintage Projectionist Dec 14
Screening - Billie Holiday Strange Fruit 
Deacription: Eleanora Fagan, professionally known as Billie Holiday, was an American jazz musician and singer-songwriter with a career spanning nearly thirty years. Nicknamed "Lady Day" by her friend and music partner Lester Young, Holiday had a seminal influence on jazz music and pop singing. Her vocal style, strongly inspired by jazz instrumentalists, pioneered a new way of manipulating phrasing and tempo. Holiday was known for her vocal delivery and improvisation skills, which made up for her limited range and lack of formal music education.

Screening - Dexter Gordon '63 & '64
Description: Dexter Gordon was an American jazz tenor saxophonist. He was among the earliest tenor players to adapt the bebop musical language of people such as Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, and Bud Powell to the instrument. Gordon's height was 6 feet 6 inches (198 cm), so he was also known as "Long Tall Dexter" and "Sophisticated Giant". His studio and live performance career spanned over 40 years.

Samadhi is an experimental trio led by Kartikeya Srivastava. The group features Kartikeya Srivastava on drums, Utsav Lal on Piano and Abhinav Khokhar on Bass.

18th December: Cotton & Candy

Unlike many other bands hailing from the northeastern regions of India, Cotton And Candy, a duo of two young aspiring singer-songwriters from Mizoram, has reintroduced acoustic mild folk rock (which they shortly term as Milf Rock)  back into the musical light. The duos clean cut non-digital sounds allows the human voice the respect that is due with their music having the touch of modern musical techniques but yet retaining from the use of digitally enhanced sounds. Since the forming of their band in August 2014, their music has reached the ears of not only young music lovers but lovers of all ages.

19th December, The Star Shinners

The Band is a collaboration between some of Delhi's most accomplished musicians - we bring you urban, feel good grooves and kick ass , modern Jazz inspired covers of classical pop tunes and standards. Star Shinners are little people who live on, dedicate their lives to, keeping the stars squeaky clean - so that no matter who you are, what you do and what our problems are, you can always look up and enjoy the night sky.

Screening - Chet Baker Candy
Description: Chesney Henry "Chet" Baker, Jr. was an American jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist and vocalist.
Baker earned much attention and critical praise through the 1950s, particularly for albums featuring his vocals (Chet Baker Sings, It Could Happen to You). Jazz historian David Gelly described the promise of Baker's early career as "James Dean, Sinatra, and Bix, rolled into one. His well-publicized drug habit also drove his notoriety and fame; Baker was in and out of jail frequently before enjoying a career resurgence in the late 1970s and '80s.

Screening - Frank Sinatra Live at Royal Festival
Description: Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra was an American jazz and traditional pop singer, actor, and producer, who was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Italian immigrants, he began his musical career in the swing era with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. He found success as a solo artist after being signed by Columbia Records in 1943, becoming the idol of the "bobby soxers". He released his first album, The Voice of Frank Sinatra, in 1946. Sinatra's professional career had stalled by the early 1950s, and he turned to Las Vegas, where he became one of its best known performers as part of the Rat Pack. His career was reborn in 1953 with the success of From Here to Eternity and his subsequent Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He signed with Capitol Records and released several critically lauded albums, including In the Wee Small Hours (1955), Songs for Swingin' Lovers! (1956), Come Fly with Me (1958), Only the Lonely (1958) and Nice 'n' Easy (1960)

Screening - Thelonious Monk live in 66 
Description: Thelonious Sphere Monk was an American jazz pianist and composer. Monk had a unique improvisational style and made numerous contributions to the standard jazz repertoire, including "'Round Midnight", "Blue Monk", "Straight, No Chaser" "Ruby, My Dear", "In Walked Bud", and "Well, You Needn't". Monk is the second-most recorded jazz composer after Duke Ellington, which is particularly remarkable as Ellington composed more than 1,000 pieces, whereas Monk wrote about 70.

Screening - The Nat King Cole Show Ep 1 & 2
Description: Nathaniel Adams Coles known professionally as Nat King Cole, was an American singer who first came to prominence as a leading jazz pianist. He was widely noted for his soft, baritone voice, which he used to perform in big band and jazz genres and which he used to become a major force in popular music for three decades, producing many hit songs.
Cole was one of the first African Americans to host a national television variety show, The Nat King Cole Show, and has maintained worldwide popularity since his death from lung cancer in February 1965.
