Description: Blue Notes School of Music is a premier music institute situated in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi established in 2007. It has trained over 800 students in classical and contemporary music.

Drift is one of the popular jazz bands in the country today. The band has performed both, as a trio as well as a part of larger setups featuring vocalists, saxophonists and other instrumentalists from around the world. Led by Drummer Reuben Narain, the band's music is an eclectic mix of modern music styles like Funk, RnB, Fusion etc. with the compositional vision and improvisational styles of jazz greats like John Coltrane, Chick Corea, Thelonious Monk and Pat Metheny.

Each member of this trio has toured and performed extensively as session musicians with some of the most successful jazz/rock artists in this country and abroad. They have been featured at almost all major music festivals held in India. The Idea behind coming together as a band for them was to write new music that could be a confluence of their personal musical journeys, without being restricted only by commercial considerations. Also, through this band they have found a way to celebrate the music of some of our idols. The group performs the music of some of the greatest jazz/blues composers with fresh arrangements and a ‘new sound‘. The group has recently launched their debut album NICO and hasenjoyed critical acclaim in India and abroad.

(My Alternative Pop) is a joyride through a seamless confluence of floating melodies and inspired lyricism. It POPs with the rock, the roll, the blues and the soul...and everything in between.

The band came together in 2011, when singer-songwriter Manta Sidhu set out to look for musicians to bring to life the songs she had been writing. Featuring Jishnu Banerjee on guitar, Shivam Khare on keys, Rahul Rai on bass and Reuben Narain on drums –MAP’s journey over the last 4 years has been spirited, spontaneous and rewarding. 

The band released its debut album 'Rear View' with major record label Times Music in July 2013. Presently, the 5 member line-up is busy recording and releasing a bunch of audio and video singles.

Description: Shweta is a very not so talented singer who is world famous in a small town 
called Eatyourcake. She has been practicing and believes the world is now ready for her,
and what is a better way to share this trans-sic experience than with her
bestchocolatecakeonlyjustbasically.  And in her shadow is her guru, mentor,
teacher, maestro, sensei Daniel...Daniel is...mmmmm...Daniel is just a clown who
can somehow play the guitar.

P.S.
To whom it may concern:
Shweta and Daniel tried to study in a circus and music school respectively.
Whether or not they were successful is a controversial subject which has already
been failed to explain by agent Mulder and Scully.

11th December: Neue Jazz Collective
Description: A modern Jazz trio, the Neue Jazz Collective, from Delhi, brings you music which blends traditional jazz with modern harmonic sensibilities.

The collective primarily plays standards, as well as personal takes on songs that have
inspired them over the years. A compelling rhythm section accompanied by lush
arrangements and uninhibited improvisation; makes the music edgy, dynamic and absorbing for the listener.
