Event Description : "Art.!?" an art exhibition by Collective Tangents.
Collective Tangents is a group of four artists namely – Dilip Kumar Chanda, Parul Sharma, Purnima Sharma and Smriti Sangal. Having the exposure of national and international art scene, they are presenting their first art show - ART. ! ? as a group in Delhi, India.
With their vivid backgrounds, each of them serves a very unique dimension to the group. They formed this group in 2015, when they envisioned a platform where art can be seen beyond the conventional measures. With their thorough understanding and strong educational art backgrounds from New Delhi and London, they are pushing their practices. They emit liberal thinking through their art works. The works presented in this exhibition will question, suggest and transverse you to a plane of contemplation.
This group has a range to offer. On one hand Dilip’s realistic works will make you contemplate the politics and the inane eccentricities of our society and on the other you can submerge yourself in Purnima’s bold and confident strokes, unconsciously focused on the environment of urban centers. Parul’s art will sit with you emotionally and silently resonate with your psyche. Smriti’s imaginary mindscapes delve into the possibility of parallel universes/worlds as seen from a distance symbolizing a pattern.
