Tom Ginsburg

In this talk based on his upcoming book Judicial Reputation: A Comparative Theory, Professor Tom Ginsburg (Leo Spitz Professor of International Law and Deputy Dean at the University of Chicago Law School) will trace the global focus in recent years on systems for selecting, appointing and disciplining judges. Addressing the key question -the degree to which judges have autonomy over their own affairs Professor Ginsburg will draw on contemporary debates about Judicial Independence globally and in the Indian context.
