Event Description : Soch Theatre Group Presents “Manthan- ensemble of short stories” an amalgamation of various Indian eminent writers such as Premchand, Saadat Hasan Manto, Mohan Rakesh & Naveen Rana.

Chief Guest : We are honored to have Sh. Anwar Jamal as Chief Guest of our first stage production Manthan. He is a renowned  documentary filmmaker, who has been awarded National Film Award on several occasions. He has served as jury in many international film festivals including National Film Award Jury.
He is most noted for his feature film, Swaraaj – The Little Republic (2002), which he also wrote, produced and directed, on the theme of women's empowerment and the politics of water in rural India.

Synopsis : It portrays the diverse aspects of social traps and cross relationships by showcasing some typically strong emotional phases of the life of different people. The stories shortlisted for Manthan somewhere or the other, help us understand the ailments of the society with a human angle which is contemporary, personal and thought provoking which is the very purpose of the play.

Director : Mr Rajiv Kohli, Founder of SOCH and Director of Manthan firmly believes that theatre is best medium to connect to masses and make people aware of social issues

Launching iACT- A Theatre Workshop with a difference 
Soch Theatre Group launches another batch of their 4 week long (weekend workshop) on the occasion of Manthan. The theatre workshop which has a stage play and multiple street plays along with certification of completion at the end of workshop, aims at using theatre as medium to develop overall personality of the actor.
