After the stupendous multi-city success and 13 shows Save the Children brings back ‘I WILL NOT CRY’ to Delhi - a powerful solo play by Lushin Dubey, directed & scripted by Arvind Gaur. Save the Children takes immense pleasure inviting you to this fantastic piece of work by the actor-director duo.
The play is an exceptional blend of theatre and multimedia, highlighting the issue of child deaths in India. Through satire and music excerpts the play aimed at bringing alive the sad truth of millions of needless, preventable deaths of children in our country.
The play is an attempt to invoke a collective responsibility towards the children of our country who are not only the present but also the imminent present. Through this play, Save the Children aims to reach out to the government and the public at large to advocate for change – change for India’s children, change for India’s future.
As Dr Syeda Hameed, former member of the Planning Commission noted, "Nowhere in the world have I seen a more effective and sensitive advocacy for children. Having seen the play, no one ever can be the same again.”
