Event Description : On the occasion of its 3rd Anniversary, The Korean Cultural Centre, India

in collaboration with South Korea’s Jeolla Province Council Cordially invites you to the Korean Festival 2015 – “Lively Jeollabuk-do, the essence of Korea”

The Korean Festival 2015 – “Lively Jeollabuk-do, the essence of Korea,” a two day extravaganza at Select CITYWALK Saket is a collaborative endeavour by Korean Cultural Centre India and South Korea’s Jeolla Province Council. Alongside 10 days Korean Food Festival is hosted at Hotel Eros Nehru Place.

You can enjoy the flavours of art, food, culture, and tourism related entertainment package over the weekend. The festival will bring traditional dance and comedic martial arts (JUMP), Korean traditional Hanji paper fashion show, workshops and interactive art, K-pop (the hits like Psy’s Gangnam style) infused DJ nights to enliven all.

Besides entertainment and food, one can learn calligraphy by attending the workshops during the festival. One can also see the world famous performance of K- Tigers (Taekwondo Group). If anyone is planning to visit Korea, this could be best place not only to get the guidance on tourism but also to experience Korea within India.

Technology companies, which have led Korea towards becoming a strong global economy, will also be present during the festival in various capacities. Though the festival is not a tech showcase forum, product displays with tech advances cannot be overruled.

Today, the people of India know more about Korea and its culture than ever before. This festival will give another height for strengthening the relationship between these two countries.
