The Urban Labs Innovation Challenge will be introduced by the University of Chicago’s Energy and Environment Lab, in partnership with the Delhi Dialogue Commission. The event will cover the best local ideas to confront high pollution in Delhi and meet future energy needs.

Delhi’s rapid urbanization is a key driver of economic prosperity. But with unprecedented growth comes formidable energy- and environment-related challenges – including air pollution, a leading public health challenge. Join the University of Chicago and Delhi Government as we kick off a competition to award up to Rs. 2 crore toward the best local ideas to meet future energy needs while confronting high pollution. The Urban Labs Innovation Challenge: Delhi will put the winning ideas to the test to build lasting policy solutions toward a cleaner, more prosperous Delhi.
