Event Description : Rajnigandha presents Times Litfest Delhi
Delhi is the city of politics, the city of power, the city of ideas and historically, the city of empires. In the turbulent churn of Delhi, lies the heart of change. A city of intellectuals, artists, politicians and the aam aadmi, India’s urbs prima lacks a mega literary event.
So who better than the Times Of India, the chronicler of the daily life of India, to create Delhi’s unique Literary Festival, as a festival of ideas, a festival not only of the nation but its capital. The Times Lit Fest, Delhi is the national capital’s literary festival and intends to give the political capital a new identity as cultural capital.
Times Lit Fest, Delhi is thus a people’s festival, engaging with the entire spectrum of ideas from social media to scholarship, from high art to street expressions, from Dastangoi to budding novelists, from films to sport, from politicians to the aam aadmi. We are the bridge between the ivory tower and the town square, between the lofty and the highbrow and the vox populi.
