Event Description : "FUSE – From India With Love" A showcase of indigenous design talent.
This festive season Delhi adds another reason to shop to its calendar, Fuse – From India With Love, is an initiative curated and conceptualised as a design collective to showcase young and upcoming brands; that are altering the narrative and creating bespoke pieces borne out of Indian handicrafts and artisanal techniques. The showcase is amalgamating 20 brands ranging from home, apparel, jewellery, accessories and even food.
FUSE aims to set itself apart from the over crowded space of pop up’s and exhibitions, by presenting a curated and handpicked amalgam of emerging young designers working largely in the field of handicrafts in India and reshaping the way we look at them.
The event is a showcase of artisanal pieces by brands from across India like Jodi (Pune), Idam (Delhi), Tokree (Jaipur), Fooljhadi, Bangdarsarali, Cord (Delhi), Asa, Lotos (Pune), amongst many others. For others looking for quirky finds and interesting collectibles we also have a great section of stationery designs by Craft Boat, patio and garden design elements by Earthbox, shoes by Banjaaran to name a few. If you’re looking for a quick bite while you shop, there are Fluffles doing waffles and TBH serving up some cold pressed juices too.
As an initiative to help and support design indigenous brands, special attention has been paid to the event layout and the look & feel of the venue; with the entire facade being done up in organic elements of wood and bamboo. We have Studio Wood on board as Space Design partners to help us with the entire setup. There will be separate areas where customers can lounge on the grass and enjoy the festivities as well as the Dilli winters with hot cups of chai . In addition to this there will be an installation also specifically created for the event, on display.
The event platform is the brainchild of entrepreneurs, Nayanika Bhatla & Gazal (IDAM), and Gauri Verma & Karuna Laungani (JODI) elaborating on the concept they said, “As a brand that has just started out, we felt there was a need to showcase on a platform that would compliment our products as well as get the right appreciation for design without dipping too deep in our pockets.”
The daylong extravaganza aims to give a unique retail experience to the patrons of DELHI and an opportunity to shop exclusive handmade products from the designer brands exhibiting at FUSE, From India With Love.
