Event Description : DANCE-POETRY "TutuAngels, Ecstasies and other Teresian Visions" choreographed by Díniz Sánchez on poems by Saint Teresa of Avila.
On the occasion of the 5th centenary of the birth of one of the major authors of the mystic poetry, Saint Teresa of Avila, we have the pleasure to premiere the dance performance created, on some of her poems, by Díniz Sánchez, Rahul Bhat, Gopal Dalami, Hemant Kumar, and Ritesh Kumar, and with images by the photographers Avani Tanya and Gayatri Ganju.
Art statement: "...The pain was so great, that it made me moan; and yet so surpassing was the sweetness of this excessive pain, that I could not wish to be rid of it..." (Santa Teresa of Avila) (+)
