Event Description : Urusvati Centre for Contemporary Art presents a Concert of Dance & Music & Inauguration of a Sculpture Camp.
The Urusvati Centre for Contemporary Art is a Registered Trust, located recently in its newly constructed Art Centre in Sec-78, Gurgaon.
The Trust has set up an “Arts Centre” and a Museum of Folk Lore of India in its Campus. The main aim & objectives of the Trust are encouraging the understanding of appreciations of Art & Culture among the public, especially children through its activities. The Art Centre organize folk & classical dances and musical performances throughout the year. The Art Centre also has two large galleries displaying the works of both known and younger artists.
I) Concert of Dance & Music, Sangeet Natak Academy, Delhi has sponsored a special group of Sattariya Dances from Assam followed by a Ghazal evening by “Mohd. Kashif Nizam party (a disciple Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan)
II) Inauguration of Sculpture Camp by Eminent Sculptors of India and also young aspiring Sculptors. The Sculptors will work with Black Marble and other materials to complete large compositions of over 5 ft in height. The camp will run for 10 – 12 days.

2. Mr. Asurved
3. Mr. Jagan Mohan
4. Mr. Vijaya
5. Mr. Suresh Kumar
6. Amitav Bhomic
7. Dr. Snehlata Prasad from Hyderabad
8. Neeraj Ahirwal from Bhopal
9. Mr. Sunil Kumar Kumawat
10. Mr. Narinder Singh
11. Mr. Hirday Kaushal
Their works will be displayed permanently in the art Galleries & Gardens of the Urusvati Centre for Contemporary Art, Sec-78, Gurgaon
