Event Description : Avighn Theatre Group Presents Three Short Hindi Plays
Three gems from the World Literature.
The said plays named ‘Refund’, ‘Ek Pyali Chaay’, and ‘Khula Darwaza’ are based on the writings of Fritz Karinthy, Katherine Mensfield, and H.H. Munro ‘Saki’ respectively.  These adaptations are in the Indian perspective.

‘Refund’ is adaptation of Fritz Karinthy’s original Hungarian Play ‘The Refund’ is a strong sarcasm on contemporary education system.

‘Chaay Ki Pyali’ is adaptation of Katherine Mensfield’s original English Story ‘A Cup Of Tea’ is a sarcasm on the feelings of jealousy, insecurity and materialism of so-called aristocrat class.

‘Khula Darwaza’ is Macabre adaptation of H.H. Munro ‘Saki’s original English short story ‘The Open Window’ sustains curiosity throughout the play.
