Event Description : "Two Fives Are One" Jordan Johnson on guitars, vocals and Akshay Deokuliar on the drums.
Jordan Johnson was introduced to music before he was introduced to solid food. His dad played the guitar and he would stare for hours watching his fingers sing. Jordan’s parents collaborated on a few projects, so naturally acoustic guitar, singing and song-writing evolved over the years, and the encouragement of his dream to be a full-time musician lived strong. At fifteen he started to play in various café’s and bars in New Delhi and oversees and at sixteen came out with his solo debut album “Distance and a Kiss” followed by “Pieces of Mind” in 2015 with his band “North”.
Jordan’s has performed in Hollywood, England, Ireland, South Africa, Nepal, Thailand, New Zealand, and Singapore and on stages that have seen the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin and John Mayer.
“Pieces of Mind” was recorded in Strongroom Studios (UK) where Florence and the Machine, The Kooks, Jamiroquai and Radiohead recorded their albums. Jordan has also worked with some legendary producers/engineers/musicians including Nigel Palmer, Julian Wiggins, Phil Harding, and Pandit Dinesh who have worked with people like Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, and Van Morrison amongst many others.
Voted within the top 5 acoustic acts in New Delhi, Jordan is now working on some brand new material to put onto a neat little E.P for the folks of New Delhi to hear some of what his travels and life lessons sound like.
