Event Description : "Halqa Sevens Tournament 2015" a professional seven-a-side football tournament will be held at the Netaji Subhash Sports Complex – Jasola. A total of 8 teams representing all the Major Central universities in Delhi, including Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, AIIMS etc would be fighting for the coveted champions trophy. With publicity works in full swing, we expect an audience of more than 500. The tournament is being organized professionally with refereeing by players who have played for East Bengal, Salgocar, Air India etc and involvement of local medical aid officials. Prior to the finals, two publicity events- Logo Release and Power Friendlies are also being planned before this weekend. With the announcement of attractive cash prizes this tournament has already become the talk of the town with students of all major universities already having completed trials and team fixtures.

About the organization : We are Delhi Malayali Halqa, the most prominent and active platform of Malayali Community in Delhi since 2005. Our humble presence has been great boon for the entire Keralite community in Delhi with our various wings that look into and addresses all issues that matter to the public.
