Event Description : Friends of Heritage presents Story Ghar's Musical Storytelling show for kids by Storywali Jaishree and her team.
Storywali Jaishree and her team will spark giggles and ignite your imagination with fun packed and charming tales. Come one, come all and relish the evening that is set to brim with joy.
Friends of Heritage is a voluntary organization spearheaded by Tanvir & Samegh Batra who have taken upon themselves to help revive the traditional art of storytelling.
Story Ghar, a house of stories, founded by storyteller Jaishree Sethi is part of this initiative. Story Ghar uses the method of storytelling for educating children on variety of subjects like environment conservation, gender sensitivity, teamwork, cultural values, heritage etc. Their specially designed modules help participants hone language skills, develop creative thinking, polish body language, improve expressions and gain confidence.
Buoyed by the success of the First Story telling session held on 12-9-15 and smiles & exuberance of the children, Friends of Heritage decided to make this a regular feature on every second Saturday of each month.
