Abijit Ganguly - has been performing as a Stand-Up Comedian for over four yearsnow, and is presently over 500+showsold (stage shows, pub gigs, college shows and corporate gigs). His humour is essentially anything and everything he finds funny, be it stereotypeobservations, alcoholism, officeexperience, student life, relationships, parties,bengali-punjabi tussle, beggars,Facebook, societalproblems, middle class life, etc.
ManasTayal -Also known as Magic Manas, is a comedian – magician from New Delhi who has been performing in cruises in USA and Australia and at other places across the world. The guy displays, excellent Jugalbandi or Magic and Comedy, where is hands weave some breathtaking magic and his tongue spells bursts of laughter. A unique and rare combination in the offering. He has worked with many magicians and comedians, and his shows usually leave people baffled with magic and also laughing out loud with his exemplary sense of humor.
Open Spots - Kishore Dayani and Manish Tyagi
4th October :
AmitTandon - - With more than 500 shows across India and Singapore, Amit is one of the best known observational comics in India. He is known as 'The Married Guy' in the stand-up comedy circuit. After two kids and one marriage, he realized it couldn't get any worse and took to comedy. In the last three years he has toured two solo shows across India and he has co-produced three other shows. He was also responsible for bringing a popular comedy face-off show of Singapore, Fight Comic to India.
AbijitGanguly - AbijitGanguly has been performing as a Stand-Up Comedian for over four yearsnow, and is presently over 500+showsold (stage shows, pub gigs, college shows and corporate gigs). His humour is essentially anything and everything he finds funny, be it stereotypeobservations, alcoholism, officeexperience, student life, relationships, parties,bengali-punjabi tussle, beggars,Facebook, societalproblems, middle class life, etc.
Appurv Gupta - From engineering to stand up comedy, the journey has been fascinating to say the least. Appurv is one of the youngest comedians in India and in the time he has had, he has made quite an impact on the audience. His keep sense of Observations and then weaving his real life experiences into amusing stories is his forte. His disruptive style of delivery takes the jokes to a different level which is then greeted with deafening laughter and thunderous applauses. This “Patli Pin” look alike, is a certain proposition to be savored. Oh and not to forget, people still try to sell him that Hindi Newspaper, whilst he is waiting for the signal to go green at the BRT.
Neeti Palta-
Neeti brings to the English stand up comedy scene in India what it sorely lacks – a female perspective. Therefore she has the unique advantage of being able to present a female point of view on a variety of subjects from the life of a woman in India, Indian idiosyncrasies, to daily irritants, current affairs, etc, while indulging in a spot of poking fun at men (ok, a lot of that!).
She was voted as the best Stand Up Comic at the Oz Fest and was India’s first Stand Up to perform at Melbourne for the prestigious Melbourne Comedy Festival 2013.
Neeti has done shows for varied audiences and corporates across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Goa, Kolkatta, Bangalore, Pune, etc.
Maheep Singh - Maheep is an unassuming man with plenty of stories to tell. Fortunately for us, he believes in sharing (presumably, he watched a lot of Sesame Street as a child). Singh is the kind of character that TV writers aim to pencil into their intelligent sitcoms: A mix of deadpan delivery and storytelling. He sounds a lot like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh but somehow, his sad/mundane story is hilarious. Known as 'The Gujarati Sardar' on the stand-up comedy circuit, Maheep started stand-up comedy as part of his coming-out-of-depression exercise. He had a choice between serial killing and stand-up and he chose the latter. Singh uses his personal experiences and general observations in his comedy. And all of the things he says in his stand-up are facts.
Open Spoits - Srijan Kaushik
Even Hosted by - Prakhar Pramod
