If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, nurture the deep contemplation, admiration of the natural scintillating beauty, characterisation of intense imagination, ensemble of debatable entangled thoughts and the solace of mind & soul then let’s get drenched in gleaming palette of what is called art. The art world has blossomed artists of different genre, some patronising the predecessors, some following the contemporary trend whereas some creating their own media of artistry but taking a cue from the concurrent situation, it can be ascertained that art sure is on the crossroads of juxtaposition. Art Projects Inc, for art lovers, collectors and new buyers brings plethora artworks in the gallery from 30 October to 15 November to create a fizz in this festive season.
The exhibition is an attempt to highlight the intangible expressivity flowering in the art world in the present scenario. It promises to be a fusion of medium and ideas, the exhibition would showcase artworks that are infused with spiritualism, scenic beauty, auto-biographical perspective, cityscapes, abstraction and dynamism, an array of artworks & sculptural pieces in medium like bronze and fibre.
The artworks in the show are by artists like Bandana Kumari, Vinita Dasgupta, Deepak Khandelwal, Dhiraj Choudhury, Amit Harit and many more. Bandana Kumari who truly believes that the human body comprises of the ‘pancatatva’ and with feminine forms she characteristically depicts the forms that define her understanding of a woman. The artwork of Vinita Dasgupta highlights her auto-biographical mode to express her modernist expressive interpretation to figuration. Painted using the textile fabrics of his hometown in Sanganer (Rajasthan), the artist Deepak Khandelwal portrays the varied personas combined with the struggles of everyday and the pomp and show of the pretentious. Amit Harit’s art work is an ensemble, a heavy influence of rural and urban life executed into a band of colours. Inspired by the Radha Krishna philosophy, the artworks of veteran artist Dhiraj Choudhury are soothing and exquisite.
The exhibition shall also showcase an array of sculptural pieces in medium like bronze fibre among others. “& everything nice” manifests a superb combination of artworks and sculptural pieces that art lovers would relish and experimental practises around the art clock.
