Singer-songwriter Manta Sidhu composes, sings and plays guitar for Delhi based band MAP, which recently released its debut album ‘Rear View’ with Times Music. Manta composes in both English and Hindi, and features in her repertoire a series of stints in radio, the film industry and the advertising industry. She has been privileged to have collaborated with numerous musicians from across varied musical backgrounds to bring forth the many moods that her songs portray. Her unique style of songwriting takes from a passionate play of words clubbed with an up-front expression of melody. For her, music is best when it is uncomplicated and comprehensible…where versatile musical elements merge together in a carefree environment, yet standing vulnerable in all their rawness. Manta Sidhu’s music lies in pursuit, is a treat for the all-embracing music lover.
